Outdoor Learning at RaKs Pallikkoodam

The most popular of the school days at Rak's is WILD Friday! The one day a week where the whole learning community of Children and adults go out into outdoor spaces for most of the day for outdoor learning and exploration.

As well as contextualising maths, English, geography, history, drama, art and science in the farm/ Miyawaki forest or on a TRIPs we also have purposeful 'Adventure Days' from Treck to Study Tours. These days are about pushing ourselves, working as a team and having new experiences together.

Another motivator for WILD Fridays is the need to ensure the next generation Cares enough about the natural world to protect it. We must ensure Children develop an ongoing fascination with the natural world to ensure this happens.
