TEACHERS DAY 2019 - “A true teacher is one who does not consider teaching as arduous, but is ardent in spirit akin to the learner.” Teachers greeted with flowers, chocolates and cards, students hurriedly passing along corridors greeting all their teachers in unison….. Students conducted the assembly for teachers, inviting them to share their experiences and memories..There were students who could verbalize their gratitude, there were many others who could not. Nevertheless, all students spoke the same language; the language of appreciation, adulation and a silent plea to walk the rest of the journey with them.Teachers of both Lil Pallikkoodam and Raks were treated to a hearty meal in the afternoon. The debate which ensued was a good way for teachers to team up and engage in a verbal quest.Teacher’s day at Raks would truly be another page in the book which would be revisited over and over again for several more years to come for each of the facilitators.
